My Personal Story

Food can nourish every single cell in our body.

I had my own experience with the healing power of nutrition during my second cancer battle in 2012. Two weeks after I turned 32 years old I was medically induced into the menopause after I  underwent my first round of chemotherapy. It took six months of aggressive chemotherapy and radiotherapy to cure me from cervical cancer. The menopause was the long-lasting consequence of this treatment.

Through using my knowledge and experience as a Nutritionist, I applied my principles with food to recover from the harsh medical treatments I went through. On reflection, I can honestly say food was a great healing influence on my body and mind.

Even today, a decade on, I use nutrition to help manage the long-lasting side effects of cancer treatment such as lethargy and menopause. I have found that a balanced and nourishing diet is key to a leading a fulfilling life in all of its aspects.
