Sardine noodles

Ingredients

  • 100g buckwheat noodles

  • Tinned sardines in water

  • Four spears of broccoli

  • Grated carrot

  • Mixed peppers

  • One teaspoon of chilli oil (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

What to do

  • Boil half a litre of water and add a pinch of salt. Pop in the noodles and cook as directed by the cooking instructions on the packet.

  • 3 minutes before the noodles are due to finish cooking add the broccoli and carrots

  • Once cooked, drain the noodle pot and add the mixed peppers

  • Place the noodle mix into a bowl, add the sardines and drizzle with chilli oil (or olive oil)

  • Season with salt and pepper
